At Old Cowtown Living History Museum, creating an accurate representation of the frontier has required us to assemble a comprehensive collection of period structures, furnishings, art objects, clothing, machinery, tools and equipments, and everyday objects.

Using these pieces, along with a detailed archival collection of photographs, letters and documents, Old Cowtown has constructed one of the most unique and original museums in the country, combining more than 26 historic buildings and reproductions with period interiors, displays and live animals plus interpreters and reenactors carry out life in the old west.
